Professional basketball player Antonio Anderson visits NorthEast Burn 6/19/13

Antonio Anderson is a Lynn,ma native. He attended Lynn English high school as well as Lynn Tech high school before attending MCI prep school in Maine.

While playing at MCI Anderson received a full athletic scholorship to Memphis University where he was a 3 year starter.

Anderson become one of the nations top perimeter defenders, and could guard and play 3 positions on the basketball court.

In the 2007-08 season Antonio helped the tigers get to the NCAA final four, then the national championship. Anderson was a starter that year along side none other than NBA superstar Derek Rose.

After finishing college Anderson did well in the NBA training camp and recieved a few 10-day contracts from the Houston Rockets, Charlotte Bobcats,and the Oklahoma City Thunder. Anderson then sign a contract with the NBA D-League where he was an D-League All-Star.

After playing in Germany for a year Anderson is now playing professional basketball for the Saint Johns Mill Rats in Canada.
